UKBC Director Sean Whiting and two team members are bracing themselves for a chilly winter as they prepare to shave their heads in a quest to raise funds for Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group.

Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group is a leading children’s cancer charity and the UK and Ireland’s professional association for those involved in treating and caring for children with cancer.

CCLG is the only organisation which brings together all professionals working with childhood cancer to share their experience and knowledge, which allows CCLG to invest in valuable research and technology to support those living with childhood cancer.

The UKBC team decided to embark upon this fundraiser after sadly hearing about four-year-old George, the son of a local estate agent diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

Sean Whiting, Director of UKBC, commented: “After hearing the devastating news about George but still seeing his fighting attitude, it inspired me and the team to embark upon a fundraiser that could help support the fantastic charity who has been helping George and his family.

On the 31t of October, we will be shaving our heads to show our support. We have already raised over £1,300 but would love to double or even triple this!”

Alongside Sean, Engineers Adam and Jake will also be taking part.

Making a donation to this fundraiser is easy; all you have to do is click on the Just Giving link below. Remember, even if you can only donate a few pounds, every penny does count.
